![]() All songs have been returned plus over 2000 doubles and triples that wasn't there before. But problems that wasn't present before this mishap continues. Music I am afraid to buy music from iTunes because the last purchase resulted with a bad trip to the Genius Bar where I temporary lost my entire iTunes library and an encounter with a Smart White Gloves Tech later who restored my library. If anyone out there thinks they can help, please let me know, but I've probably heard that one already. I wish we could just go back to the early days of iTunes. But this whole issue has destroyed my respect for the Apple brand, and I'm convinced they have no interest in solving this problem which seems to effect only a small minority of people, especially if they listen to somewhat non traditional music, or are not willing to go back and buy from Apple every CD they ever owned when the CD is right in the hall closet. (Yes I really was once 23 years old.) THAT'S how long I've been devoted to Apple. My first Apple computer was the Macintosh Classic back in 1987. I'm 55 years old and relatively tech savvy. I've read several posts on here about this issue, but no solutions for normal people like me. I have spoken to Apple reps on the phone, been to more than one Genius Bar, even spoke to a very senior iTunes expert at Apple who tried to help, but the workaround he suggested to avoid these problems was hugely cumbersome, and one wrong move and all the work would be lost again. Since then with the advent of iCloud Music Library and Apple's whole music match technology, it's all ruined, and every time I make an attempt to re-build, something goes wrong. I loved how well I could manage my music. ![]() ![]() When I first got iTunes (very shortly after it came out) I thought it was a miracle. The iCloud Music Library has ruined years worth of work uploading CD's, buying music from Apple, and creating Playlists.
